Acceptable use policy
Last updated October 6, 2026
MailWild is for businesses sending newsletters to people who asked to hear from them. To keep every customer's email landing in inboxes, all accounts agree to the following.
You may only send to people who opted in
Every contact must have given you permission to email them, for example by signing up, buying from you, or doing business with you and agreeing to hear from you. You must be able to show how each contact was collected if we ask.
Lists we do not allow
- Purchased, rented, shared or traded lists
- Addresses scraped or harvested from websites or directories
- Lists that have not been emailed in more than two years without reconfirming permission
- Role addresses such as abuse@ or postmaster@
Content we do not allow
- Anything illegal, deceptive, or misleading about who is sending
- Phishing, malware, or links to them
- Get-rich-quick, debt relief, pharmacy, gambling, or adult content
- Messages designed to get around spam filters
What we do automatically
- Every email includes a one-click unsubscribe link and your business mailing address. Unsubscribes take effect immediately.
- Hard bounces and spam complaints are removed from your lists permanently.
- New accounts start with daily sending limits that rise as sending stays clean. Large first sends are reviewed by a person.
- We pause any account whose bounce rate goes above 4% or complaint rate above 0.08% on a send, and review it before sending resumes.
Enforcement
We may pause or close an account that breaks this policy, with or without notice. To report abuse, write to abuse@mailwild.io.
